Heather Carter is a Member of the Institute of Sales Marketing Management. She has a practical hands-on approach to business development, and has helped companies of all sizes (including FTSE and Fortune 500) to grow and prosper. Heather uses multiple communication channels and 'Prospect Finder' tools which can be applied to a diverse range of industry sectors within the UK; all focussed on delivering customer databases of real value for our clients. As a business, SMART was recognised by LTSB to offer a commercial marketing service that would add value to their UK operations and achieve business growth. The LTSB Prospect Finder Solution was successfully managed by Heather, enabling LTSB SME/LME business customers to outsource all or part of their sales and marketing activity to SMART.

David has played a pivotal role in project management for over 7 years, initially supporting private sector clients and then moving on to managing a thriving public sector division 5 years ago. David came to SMART from a senior management position at BT where he was responsible for both inbound and outbound call centre teams.

Caroline has overall responsibility for Operations, and coordinating the Operations Team of heads of department and Managers, also liaising with the IT Department on a regular basis regarding the supporting IT infrastructure, to ensure that all personnel have the tools to perform their roles to an optimum level. In addition, they will also handle customer queries or complaints on an operational basis, in conjunction with the Heads of Department. Caroline has 11 years Contact Centre experience at SMART, with 8 years in a management capacity, she has overall responsibility for the operational running of the Contact Centre. Caroline has gained a vast knowledge of a diverse selection of industries sectors and business types, enabling her to oversee all projects with a high level of understanding both of the client’s needs and our organisational requirements. A member of the Chartered Institute of Management since 2003 after completing the relevant NVQs in Management and Tele-marketing, and also acted as the Internal Champion in SMART’s accreditation as Investors in People organisation and is currently taking responsibility for the implementation of ISO 9001

Rob is responsible for the development of SMART's BDEs and their productivity on behalf of clients. Rob joined us with an enviable set of management skills honed within the insurance and mail order sectors. From managing five national insurance call centres with a total of 600 seats, to consultancy work for several major high profile insurance companies, Rob is highly experienced in ensuring the performance of our contact centre teams always exceeds the client's expectations.

Robert Evans came from a primarily retail sales background when he started work at SMART in 1999 as a telemarketing executive. His promotion to training manager in 2002 soon followed. Robert's experience in sales, both as a telemarketeer and a project manager, gives him a unique perspective and insight into what training strategies work best. His key role is devoted to training members of the SMART team using methods that support the individual, with the ultimate goal of becoming 'the best they can be.' Robert actively encourages executives to get involved in the call rather than read off a script; to represent the client as a 'real' person and thrive whilst developing strong business relationships.
