The job and its requirements:

The main activities of a SMART Business Development Executive (BDE) include cold outbound calling to prospects from a database. Our staff work either in small teams or individually (depending on the project), to generate qualified high quality leads and appointments for our clients to follow up or attend.
Successful candidates will ideally possess some experience in sales, however this is not essential. More important is a confident yet approachable personality with drive and enthusiasm, good conversational skills and a degree of tenacity along with competency in IT.
Our BDEs work to realistic targets, with the quality of the leads they generate being of paramount importance. We pride ourselves on creating a professional, vibrant environment for our staff that is both rewarding and an enjoyable place to work. In addition to a good basic salary, SMART recognises and rewards effort, success and initiative and we incentivise our staff in a number of ways including bonuses, prizes and commission.
