Cakes and curries donated by the staff were sold throughout the day, as the fun continued with sponsored leg waxing for men and outrageous hair colouring sessions for managers.

So far the amount collected from the staff's fund raising efforts has reached £438 - and this sum is expected to increase as final cash from sponsored events comes in. The company will also boost the staff's fund raising efforts by donating a further £100 to the cause.

Rob Kenyon, Sales Floor Operations Manager said: "There is always a great team spirit at SMART and everyone here regularly enjoys raising funds for charity. It's great to know this wonderful team effort will help to support some of Comic Relief's very worthy causes."

The staff and management team at SMART are no strangers to charity fund raising. The company's chosen charity is Plan - the child-centered humanitarian charity - which it actively supports with various fund raising activities throughout the year including marathons, sponsored events and fancy dress days.
